Lap Time Thread

I see lots of talking about drag strip times. Like Al O said, straight line performance is not enough.

Can we have a thread of lap times? This car is a road course monster! Who's going to be the first to put up lap times at VIR, Laguna Seca, Road America, the RING!

Best lap time likely to be recorded at VIR by a ZL1:

2:52.4 - Aaron Link (GM: Feb 2012)

Great thread!

I will be heading to Sebring end of May for a 2 day event, I plan on comparing all my datalogs and time logs from the last 2 times I was there in my SS! I might get a HMS laptime in before that but we shall see. I can't wait to get on track with her!!

It's easier for the everyday Joe to understand and compare 1/4 mile times than times from different road coarses. I believe that's why it's talked about more. I would love to see someone take a road coarse, get regular people with ZL1s and GT500s together on the same day and have them timed independently. Then it would mean something to me.
I do however believe that the ZL1 is still going to prevail ,but I could be wrong.

I'd be posting a time for Nola Motorsports Park if I could afford a ZL1. Anybody in the New Orleans area?

This will be good! I'll let you know how long it takes me to travel home from the 1,500 miles to get mine. Usually a 24 hour drive! haha JK! Plenty of tracks to stop at on the way home though!! HMMMMM!

VIR...is it the "full course" or what configuration? I believe there are at least 3 configurations at VIR.
