You sound just like every a$$hat that ever told me I'd be dead by 21 because I rode a motorcycle. Look at me now beaches! I'm 24 and have only had 1 accident while riding on 2.

when you have a house ..job and family..with a Camaro in the garage. Come back and we can chat about choices....until then don't give opinions on things you know nothing about.... your a long way from being a success story.

1. I have a home, that I bought on my own merit and credit. I pay the mortgage on it, I haven't lived with my parents since I was 17.

2. I have a job, where I'm well-respected that enables me to meet my needs comfortably, are you such a pretentious fool to not understand that young people can have trade skills as well?

3. Your family was your choice, nobody put a gun to your head and told you to get married did they?

To sum it up, let me correct you. You have no idea where I've came from or what I've had to endure to get where I am now, and you never will. I said nothing about being a success story, I said frankly that I and any others my age have just as much right to own a nice car as you do. How about you "learn" about those opinions you think you have an idea on and stop embarrassing yourself with your ignorance.

I've been driving for 2.5yrs, and have never been in an accident or gotten a ticket. Not sure what makes you think I cant handle the car? Age is just a number, It's how mature you are that counts.

20 here. Worked hard for my car, despite the fact that many times when I see people (and they are usually my age) at a gas station or somewhere where I'm stopped, they love to ask me if daddy wrote me a check or if the car was his. But they are usually young people my age that cant comprehend that someone their own age could work hard and afford a decent car. Instead they just stay at home and play videogames and don't do anything with their lives and then complain that the economy and whatnot are the reason that they can't get a job or aren't going anywhere in live. When really they just need some goals and motivations.

I prefer people over 25 when talking about my car or going to meets because the chances of having an intelligent conversation are much higher.

But there are plenty of young people that drive Camaros. Especially now that even a person without much means can get, for a example, a 2010 LS with lets say 80k miles for around 14 grand. Maybe even less. I see all ages owning Camaros.

Man, this thread took a sour turn really quick. I don't think the Op was trying to start an age war, just make a statement.

To get back on track, what counts as "young"? The great people I've known in my life are as youthful as ever, which is why they are fun to be around. Now maturity and youthful spirit are two different things. Most younger aged persons tend to be more immature, which may be why they don't own as many Camaros. Also credit (either not having or bad credit) are controlling factors on loans, more expensive insurance and lower income because of lack of experience. Do not misunderstand me, as there are exceptions to everything. Some people get it together quickly and some never do.

No. I also started flying airplanes before I ever drove a car. I'm completely capable... it's not like it's a $250k Ferrari 458...
