4L80E rebuild is done. I have off tomorrow, so I hope to get the trans in the car. Last weekend I swapped in cradle bushings and new motor mounts. Hoping to have this wrapped up by the end of April and making passes at Numidia!

Bump! Been I while since I revisited this for sale thread. I almost lost my job, finished the 4L80E swap, drove it for 12 blocks before the trans died and then walked away from it for a while. Well, my new stage 2 from Jake's showed up and I have the old stuff removed. I finally should have some time to swap the trans in this coming week. For the 12 blocks I got to drive it (LOL) it worked great. I think the issue with trans #1 is related to the pump. It was pressurizing the case and pushing oil out of the vent tube and the rear seal.

I upgraded to the B&M Pistol grip shifter in lieu of the stock auto shifter. I also cleaned up some more of the wiring and a few other odds and ends. I still could be tempted to sell this thing...

Open the business first! Cars can always come later.

Well, Maiden Voyage with the new Jakes Stage II 4L80E was a success. I only put about 10 miles on the car, but it is so nice with the auto. This thing has mid 10's written all over (just on low boost and no nitrous). Have a set of M&H's on the way for my 17" Bogarts. Hope to make one pass before the tracks are closed for the winter!

I still could let this thing go. Still asking the same price, but I will keep the nitrous on and throw the M&H's and Bogarts in to sweeten the pot.

Put about 50 more miles on it. Running good! $29,000 is as low as I can go. Going to put it in storage for the winter soon. Still want to hit the 1/4 once before i do!!

Updated the original post with correct mileage and other items. I put about 80 more miles on the trans and it is working great. I am picking up a set of stock rims with good tires that will go along with the car.

$29,000 OBO. No trades...trying to buy a new house.

Bump.

Picked up the stock SS rims with almost new tires, M&H's get mounted on the Bogarts on Monday. My friend is turning down and rethreading the TR6060 temp sensor so I can install in my 4L80E pan and have a working trans temp gauge in my center console. Still house shopping...

New M&H's mounted! Price lowered to $28,000. Found a house we are interested in. I will consider partial trades (nothing worth more than $10,000).

Bump! Didn't make it out to the last track day :( Just too busy with work and kids. I'll be prepping it for winter storage here shortly.

Bump

Developed the dreaded oil cooler leak last weekend. Started taking the front end apart to fix that and clean up the trans cooler line routing.
