YOU WILL LOL, WITH THIS ONE

AS Ive been posting as to a noise in my trans when you let out clutch,[ IN NEUTRAL]and the main shaft is turning and you here what would be best described as bad bearing on imput shaft,--Well the gm guy on my case, set me up with a diff dealer to get my car in faster to be repaired.[first dealer hears noise ,but cant tear apart trans till 3rd week in october]--SO i went there yesturday and he said the rotating noise is the main shaft turning [duh] and that they all make the noise.- Hear;s the lol,,, he said lift up shift console around shifter and stuff insulation in as much as possable and that will cure the noise. - lol, -another dealer working with gm and not fixing our veh;s.--

He told you to do that? Um warrenty? And he is right, it will fix it from you hearing it, but it won't fix the root problem, the noise itself. Gotta love these people. Instead of all that work to put the insulation in, just turn the radio up, or better yet, don't drive the car! Geeezzzz, is he an idiot?

I have the same noise issues, but mine started after the output shaft was replaced.

I'm just saying that's what I would have told the service manger if he told me to stuff insulation there....doesn't take care of the problem...

How do you even respond to that when he tells you, If i just spent 30-40K on a car and somethings majorly wrong with it I would loose it if they sorta just blew me off. Sending a email would be the last thing to do. Face to face is the answer. That way they cant hide behind a computer screen.
