Tomorrow I will be taking my ZL1 to Buttonwillow Raceway for some good ol fashion fun. Its only a little over an hour away and they have an open track day. $200 gets you as many laps as you want from 8-5pm. This will be my first time at a track, I already have my GoPro suctioned to my windshield. I will post video this weekend.

I went to Watkins Glen for a few parade laps and it was a riot, I have signed up for a driving school at our local track Mosport and heading back to Watkins Glen next week, This car is a blast. Good luck and have fun

Im doing the 2-day school down at Willow Springs this September/October. I have a lot to learn.

Im super excited, Ive watched a few videos of the course on youtube and looks like so much fun. Cant wait to open her up and see what she is made of, or I should say, see what I am made of

Button willow is awesome no areas that u need to worry about its in the middle of nothing but sand no trees or anything to worry about love coming down straight into turn one and there are two over the hill off camber turns and one long sweeper it will be a blast

Have fun and good luck! Sounds like a blast. I'm going to a road course on July 15th at Englishtown, but unfortunately I won't have the break in miles over with. I'm going to run my 01 SS Camaro SLP. First time ever on a road course, can't wait!

I am about 1.5 hours from that track. I too have never been there, but I will when I get my car. Its built and has been shipped. Where you from? I am in Coalinga. Maybe some time we can hook up for a Camaro drive....I cant wait to see your video.

I plan to track my car when I get it. Two things I like to do before I track a new car, have the brake fluid changed to Motul 600.(or some higher temp fluid) And have the alignment checked to see if it's within spec. Anyone know what brake fluid the car comes with?

Sammy,

Just had my brake/clutch fluid upgraded to the Motul 600. The stock fill was DOT3.

Gary, Good job! Some new guys suprise themselves how quickly they pic up on late braking and you can boil your fluid!
