Enough to change your mind about trading it
I drove an A6 first, knowing that I wouldn't like it. Just had to be sure.

I love my A6. I like being able to cruise and not worry about shifting.

Well you only have a few choices here, live with it, trade for a M6 at a loss, or tune your A6 and loose your warranty. The tune will make all the difference in the world.

Just get a CAI intake w/ air scoop, a Ported Throttle Body, and drive it in Sport Mode... unleash the power! It will cost you less than $500 and you'll love the difference.

If it makes you feel any better, I regret not getting a ZL1. That is what I originally wanted but couldn't see spending the money. Since then, I sold off a few on my toys and could have easily put down the difference. Now I am just modding mine to have the power of the ZL1....

it's not an issue with power, and i do drive 100% in paddle-shift mode, i just think it'd be a lot more fun playing around with that pedal and shifter..

i agree, their is a definant reason why my DD vette is a manual. (its more fun and every vette should be) but a tune on the auto trans can really bring the car to life and almost make it what you are looking for. i suggest find someone local who has had theirs tuned and go for a ride. might save you thousands that you could spend on modifing this car |

well the car you bought was used already? New cars drop like 5 grand the moment you drive it off the lot. It all depends on who you bought it from and if they will let you trade in with little loss.

Well the only way you'll get that is trade it for a few thousand dollar hit (on a new Camaro).

I used these 3 sites: http://www.edmunds.com/appraisal/ http://www.whypaysticker.com/trade-in-value.html http://www.kbb.com/whats-my-car-worth/ and brought them to dealership.. know that their first offer on your car is low and you are sure to be able to squeeze more out of them... minimize your loss by getting the best price on the vehicle you want and best value for trade in.. I find that truecar.com gives the best rates and beat out the aol.com auto invoice price even with options at invoice as well. you save on gas with the auto and can still shift.. but if you're really set on switching, best of luck to you |
