53mm offset vs 39 mm offset

Need to get some 18" rims to mount slicks. I found a pair of 18x10.5 off of a Z06 but they are 53 mm offset vs. the 39 mm on the stock wheels. Will these work without spacers?

I think the 5th gen rear z06 wheels have been done before on a 5th gen camaro, but the offset would suggest they should work. The stock wheel on the ZL1 is actually 43mm offset in the rear, so combined with the narrower c5 z06 wheel, you actually will only lose about 4mm clearance toward the inside. I know one member has an 11.5" wide rear wheel on the stock 43mm offset with 325's and still has clearance inside, so I think your scenario would work out to about the same inside clearance as long as the tire doesn't get too much taller. BUT- I'm not speaking from personal experience, so hopefully someone who has done it will chime in.

No experience with it but I would say it would be pushing it, especially under launch or if you put a meaty drag slick/radial on it.

From what I understand the FRONT wheels from a C6 Z06 will work on a ZL1 rear. They are 18"
I don't know if the REAR 18" wheels from a C5 Z06 will work.

Based on the specs of a C6 Z06 front wheel (18 x 9.5, 40 mm), that should work and give you almost 7/8" more clearance on the inside and about 5/8" more tuck on the outside.

From everything I can find, the C5 Z06 rear wheel is actually 58mm offset, not 53mm. Based on that, I change my previous thought. The C5 Z06 rear wheel (18 x 10.5, 58mm) may or may not work, as it will give you almost 3/8" LESS clearance on the inside. Depending on your sidewall, that may be close.

So, based on the specs alone, I agree with Bryan that the C6 Z06 Front wheel should work, but the C5 Z06 Rear wheel might not.

These were marked 53mm on the inside of the pad but still it's more than I want. Thanks for the info.
