Will grudge racing be allowed? Will it be no time?

No worries there either... keeping it the same as last year.

You have GOT to be kidding! You expect 5th Gen V6 with headers & tune to compete with forced induction. Ruby out for sure!

This is why we wanted to discuss this in another thread further. How much is it to sponsor a new class is a question I had? Because your right Ruby we know how the cars perform at this point and though I enjoy just the grudge racing and racing in general it's always competitive no matter whether you expect to win or not. I liked the CF7 setup because it separated I4 and V6 because unless say the few heavily modified V6 FI guys come the I4s are just to much for the V6 and run quicker even stock alot of the time.

Why so negative... I've worked with you every year on this stuff and you've taken home multiple drag awards.

One or two FI V6 cars isn't enough to create a new class. There are 2 classes now and we will have less than 10 cars total running. If enough actually sign-up we will separate the class. Try having a stock ZL1 and run in the SM class if you really want a mis-match.

There is still bracket racing, test and tune grudge matches. Call someone out that matches your speed and we will put you front and center in the finals for a grudge match trophy.

I'm game for breaking up I4 and V6 again. Things change each year and more mods happen. But I'm not going to have 2 classes for each one simply due to numbers. It's difficult for tech, the tower to schedule in extra classes and some just up getting a participation trophy because they showed up.

You all figure out the two classes and I'll do it anyway you want.

Your absolutely right about grudge matches...

The rules are spelled out... 200+ threadware rating or above.... so if you are on MT slicks the answer would be no. Most others yes.

Exactly... and we are debating I4 V6 issues. We have separated out a ZL1 class before and had about 4 cars running. Most that drag race now are not stock. We can't chase every individual setup but we do try.

CFest is also about getting the newbies out there too and if he have a dozen classes they get left out with no test and tune time. Yes we know they can enter the class and race then too but most are not that savy and frankly intimidated by racing heads up. However, once they get the bug... it's on!

Easy solution, run everybody in Index classes regardless of power type.
