Raced another Blown Mustang at Capitol last night

I went to Capitol again last night - had to represent the C5 crowd, as none of you guys seem willing to show up. Come on, it's fun! The track was a little slick, so even with only 15 lbs of rear tire pressure, I had to leave the line at 2200rpm. Any more, I'd just spin the tires. I lined up in the staging lane opposite a 2010 Mustang with Track-only drag radials and a Paxton blower. I don't know what other work he had done. I'd heard that he had lost to another Chevy earlier in the night, and was out for bear. I was a little worried about those big drag radials, as starting line traction would be the key to a good run. I did a massive burn out to heat the tires, and went straight to the staging lights. You'll have to watch the video to see what happened next.

Damn man thats a good pass there! And you got him at the tree. I guess you didnt make his day any better LOL. I try to get to the tracks but after I get off and deal with the beltway madness... I be wanting a drink LOL.

Hopefully I get some run in late Oct early Nov. before the tracks close. I stay closer to MIR and about 1-2 hours from VMP.

Great pass!

Nice run. I think it would be fun to come, but never made a pass on a drag strip, so would have no idea on getting it done well.

Very nice car and run. Is there a certian day and time to go there? May come and check it out and give some support but not ready to take to the track myself. Will let it sit their and look good though ....but in do time I will put it on a track and get some learnin' in me so I don't kill myself...or the car!

Anyway let me know if there is a regular day and time you and others are there running and I may check it out and bring the wife.
