New here, just picked up a '19 ZR1 1LE.

Just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself. I recently picked up a '19 ZR1 1LE as a track car. I welcome any input/thoughts as I'm coming from a highly modified M4 track car that was tough sorting out.

I'd like to know if the stock brakes are track worthy (high speed tracks such as Autoclub Roval) and if not what would others suggest?

Any other "pointers" will be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

You're in the 5th gen forum right now, so no one here has a ZL1 1LE. In the upper right of this site, select the drop-down menu and choose the 6th gen forum and go to their track section.

Cool M4. What was hard to sort about it?

Congrats on the ZL1 1LE..what a monster!!

It's heavy still but an amazing package to start with.

Check out Turn in Track out vids, he's pushing his ZL1 1LE very hard...stock or mostly stock. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0P...nf3wA/featured

Thanks. The two main issues I had were I never could get the car balanced correctly and power delivery. I did my best to drive around the issues but I found myself on the limit or just beyond to many times.

Here's a video of the car in action: https://youtu.be/ARBxVRiIQf8

BTW, sorry for posting in the wrong group!

No worries. Enjoy that ZL1!

If you're on FB, there's a dedicated page for 1LE's that track.

Ah that sounds frustrating.

I haven't driven the latest chassis in anger beyond the rental SS I enjoyed in the twisties of Mullholland.

The older Gen 5 that I have is so easy and forgiving to push 10/10. They put down power very well.

Hope it works out for you

The brakes are plenty for a stock zl1 1le. Enjoy the car man.
