Could I use this wire for a 5V for my fuel pressure sensor?
I installed the squash fuel system and have removed my FPCM. I still would like to datalog fuel pressure without buying an aftermarket gauge setup. I am thinking of moving my stock fuel pressure sensor to the engine bay and using pin 50 (see attached) to power the sensor since I don't need to power the FPCM anymore. Then I will run the signal wire to my HPTuners and datalog fuel pressure. Does this sound like a working plan? Am I missing anything?
Thanks, Joshua

Pin 50 is listed as fuel pump relay control. That is in no shape or form a 5v feed.
If you wanted a 5v feed....there would be a clue in all those items listed as "5v reference feed" Although I'd prefer something that isnt dedicated to a pedal position sensor at the same time. All sensors generally require a sensor ground too, not a chassis ground. ie those marked "low reference" on that chart. Although as you're only recording it and not using it for any actual controls...probably not a big deal either way. |

I think I am just going to buy an aeroforce sensor with the 5V regulator.
