The MO Senate has passed a law in April of 2010 that has went into effect in August 2010 that no longer requires a front license plate in MO. Those troopers have no business pulling you guys over...

I did a lot of reading on. After sifting through a lot of bad info, it looks like it never passed. I'm pretty sure this would have been on the local news if it had passed. Not to mention every car still has one on the front. Except for mine of course. I'll find out for sure when I go to get my new tags in a month.

It is just a license plate, not like you caved the front in. In Texas we have to have a front plate. Was in Louisiana and they do not require a front plate, lucky guys. Most in La. had some type good looking plate on the front anyway. Those tickets will add up and start to effect your insurance, so go ahead and don't put a plate on. Just my 2 cents.

Yes as a cop in st louis the law is still in effect that you MUST have a front and rear mounted license plate and must be visible of all obstruction. Now i will say most dont enforce the front plate missing but its one of our tools to justify pulling a car over and get to know who is driving......

I don't think it was ever signed into law...
I did some researching online and didn't come up with any hard evidence that it did pass. I also found this in a forum: " I actually just called Sen. McKenna's office. He is the sponsor of this SB 781 and his office said the bill DID NOT pass. Some bad information is floating around out there."

I do not run a front plate I live in South Dakota. They make a bolt on so you dont have to drill.
