How far out am I from getting my car?

I need honestly a real idea of how long my wait will be. I called today and he stated that my car code is at "3000, Order accepted by production control" I was told I would find out more on May 14th at 2pm.

Generally, how long will it take from there because my wife needs a car and I do not want to wait 3 months for it.

Also looking at an Audi A5...low miles and B2B for 83k miles....

Looking for advice...

Dude, if i recall you JUST ORDERED your car. . . I've been waiting since October 15th when I placed my order. . . If you only have to wait 3 months that's great.

Yes he is full of crap...there is NO WAY your dealer has any idea when your car will be delivered.

I went to 3000 status 3/26 (yes almost 6 weeks ago!) So it could be pulled tomorrow or never as far as I can tell..

Seeing someone drive off the lot today in a silver 2SS/RS did not help my lack of patience...

If you don't want to wait 3 months, you might as well find a dealer that is willing to sell their showroom model or didn't do pre-sold orders and has a lot car or two available.

If you are at 3000 now it is at least 4 weeks for a VIN, If you ordered the car that GM has parts for, And if GM dos not go bankrupt and has to shutdown for some time like 1-3 months or more and after that than comes the waiting for the shipping that is 2-4 weeks if you are lucky, And don't end up in the Oshawa triangle.
So if you cant wait get a referent car.

I would say about Mid June early July before you get the car. Things seem to be picking up with new orders so you may get lucky.

If i were you, I wouldn't cancell and go buy something else. You will regret it.

6-8 weeks has been the average period that you SHOULD wait once the order is pulled. However, for countless ridiculous reasons, many people are going to have to wait longer, while others waited as little as 5 weeks.

If us people who ordered back in October can hold on this long, you should have no problem, especially considering the car in your sig. I am almost infuriated with my situation at this point. If I don't get a VIN this week I am going to SNAP.

Thanks guys...

I think I will hold out on what we ordered...

I spoke with Maxie Price and they stated that my Code 3000 means they have the body already and should be about 8 weeks.

Sorry to hear Global Warming...you have greater patience than I...LOL

And, My sig is my weekend car but forced to drive it as a DD because of no longer having the wifes car.

Ha.. actually, I really don't. My patience ran out about 2 months ago and since then my sanity has been hanging on by a thread. This week determines whether or not they put me in a padded cell.
