XM Trial Subscription issue

I got my 2LT on September 14, and should have a 1 year free subscription. I just received a letter from XM saying it expires on 12/1/12. Anyone else seen this problem and know if it can be fixed?

if it says 1 year on the window sticker, have your dealer call and fix it.

however if I recall correctly, in the 2013 Camaro Dealer Brochure, it does indicate that the 1 year is only for SS and ZL-1 Models

correction, 1 year for 2LT, 2SS and ZL-1: all others 3 months.

you can see it here:

Good luck, XM has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced anywhere... I would try to have the dealer fix it to avoid the argument with a 3rd world customer service rep (who may or may not speak english).

Had no problem when I cancelled the sub on my Honda. It was a US rep, and I even got credit for the unused portion. Plus, I cancelled early, but I still had radio for two more weeks until I picked up my new car.

they called me at 3 months and i told them i had a year free. they checked their records and it showed i was right. think their auto-dialers just automatically cue up after 3 months. shouldn't be an issue at all. just call 'em.

Called XM, they said it's a dealer thing they need to change. Called the dealer, they said it's only 3 months. I told them to look again. Then they told me to call XM. Once again, I said no, XM said the dealer needs to fix it.

I have had nothing but problems with paperwork with the dealer on this car. I am really hating having to deal with these jerks.

Drove to the dealer this morning since they never called back (big surprise ). They insisted it was only a 3 month trial. I showed them MY window sticker, plus one on the lot. Suddenly they figured out that I was correct and "will take care of it".

We'll see...
