Need Help with relocating IAT Sensor
I need help with the relocation of the IAT sensor. I have ProCharger D1SC with a meth kit and I want to install the IAT sensor after the meth injector to get the full benefit of the meth. I installed it on the rubber hose with a grommet but under boost it blows right out. I reordered the 3.5" to 4" rubber tubing, but I need some input on where to install it for the best benefit. I would like to know if theirs any adaptor for the sensor to be threaded on to the intake tube. Here are some pics.

Manny, what is getting blown out? The grommet or the sensor from the grommet? If its the sensor you could dab a little epoxy on the sensor and insert it into the grommet. Again, just a dab so you could remove it later with a little effort. I did not use a grommet with mine. It is just crammed into a very small slit in the sleeve and it hold fine. i have been up over 11 psi more than a handful of times

I tried to copy your set up, but at the time I didn't know that you didn't use a grommet.

Bull Last night I was looking at a magazine and saw a sensor with a brass fitting that was threaded on to the intake tube. I would love know if it was a IAT sensor.

Thanks! The hole is to big now to try what you did. I should get the new sleeve by Tuesday. I also ordered the 4.13 pulley

The hole is about 1/4" and the sensor inserts with quite a bit of resistance. I estimate the force required to remove it is a good 10 lbs worth of pull. Its in there pretty good. Nice catch can, here's mine!

Bull after you relocated your IAT sensor what is the difference in IAT when the Meth is not on? Is it about same or higher

Yes you can get a screw in IAT sensor and a bung. That is what I did on my car.
2000 corvette IAT sensor that I grabbed from carquest or any autoparts store. Then just a weld in aluminum bung.

correct me if I'm wrong but.........
wouldn't having your IAT sensor after your meth nozzle cause problems? I mean, wouldn't having the meth spraying on your IAT not be good for it? am I right?

You want the IAT sensor to read the temp drop from the meth so you ECU can adjust timing for the meth. It won't hurt the sensor. The sensor is just a ceramic tipped thermister that just changes resistance based on temp. You can submerge it in liquid all day long without hurting it.
