Sounds like the 1LE is an optional package and some items will be options like the ZL1 exhaust. Looks like MRC, ZL1 brakes, and differential upgrades are missing. This will keep the cost down. But maybe the 1LE will not be much more trackable than my current SS. Time will tell.

I guess I just see all of this stuff adding more than what the GS does to a base C6. But who knows maybe the lack of different body panels will offset things a bit. In any case if this thing costs less than the 45th I just bought I'm gonna rage.

Now that i think about it, the 1LE may be the GM answer to the Mustang Brembo package. A more trackable SS. Still leaving room for a Z28. The original 1LE concept may have been too Z28ish.

1LE is a interesting addition to the Camaro family. But, I hope that GM really pulls its britches up and gives us something truly awesome for the Z-28. For its price, makes my jaw flop open and proclaim, a LEGEND has been reborn. (Aluminum frame...BA N/A engine...liberal use of carbon...)

I read you right however I think you read me wrong. "Much more" meaning content not $$$.

Yes the word Available was used quite liberally. I hope they use it even more:
6/4 Brakes
LS7
HD Tranny
HD Rearend

I really don't want to rebuild my new Camaro. I want it done when I buy it.

As far as the axles and transmission, the standard SS should have had this from the start.

Nothing like paying more to finally get the right parts installed. Sorry ,but I don't get it.

Although I'm surprised at how many bells and whistles it has-- 7" touchscreen radio? YES PLEASE!

Thought the 1LE was a package designation. Like a "SS" "RS" "LS" "LT". A Z/28 with the "1LE" package. A track car .Better brakes, suspension, wheels&tires, sway bars, tower strut and performance.I could be wrong...

Yep, and the fact that they didn't give 1LE it's own model. So I wanna know, do the Z -diehards have more or less hope for a fifth gen Z28? I'm thinking it's about the same. Me personally, I may make this 1LE mine.
