Input wanted

So i finally got a chance to go run the car after getting the SC installed. I'd like to get some input on what I can do to improve this time. This was literally the first run. I'm not running a cage so i get three runs before they kick me off. Not much time for test and tune so your feedback is appreciated.

Details not on the Time slip (left lane):

- Power breaking till i feel the car trying to push.
- MT 305 DR's on stock 20's with about 17lbs pressure
- small burnout
- Car dyno'd at 712/665
- No weight removal or suspension alterations.
- Coolant temp was about 195-196 at the time of run. Just drove the car an hour to get to the track with about 15 minutes cool down.
- I'm 270lb....HEY! I'M WORKING ON IT!......

Thats a pretty solid run if you ask me! Your on stock 20s and that is far from optimal, if I were you I would run 17-18" drag wheel combo with MT drag radials and I would bet you knock down .5 off that run!

Here is how to help with the cooling issue, jump the fan and it will run 24/7 while you at the track.

It's too bad you can't get a lot more runs but there is some room in the reaction time. Basically if you stage in exactly the same place everytime, you have a half second to play with. Whichever light you are launching on anticipate it a little more. That is a great time though! Good luck!

Switching to an 18" wheel will help some but I can't see gaining 1/2 a second just from 2" smaller rim. He's already running a MT DR so traction looks fairly decent. You could probably pull 1.5X with the 18" set up and that might gain you .2 in ET.

Looks like a good run tho. MPH is good.

No way he will pick up .5 going to 17's. I was cutting 1.53 all day on the MT 20's switched to 17" Welds and still cut the same 60'.

That is a great run out of the box! You have a bit left in your 60'

Awesome 60's on those 20's. I am going to have a set for next season.

Very nice run on 20's!

With more practice, you'll get it down to 10.'5s. Quicker with lighter 18's.

Very nice! What were your shift points and what rear gear? I am trying to get a feel for what my car might run (if it ever stops raining on the weekends here in the northeast!).
