GM won't make a Z28 but if your referring to a Z/28 I'd be highly surprised if they do. Its not a DD as many had hoped for. The Z/28 is intended and for the 50 and up crowd in mind.

By that logic I will have to wait 17 years. The Z/28 is intended for those that will use it as a race car.

Something that needs to said about the new Z/28.
Cars such as these are a rare breed and memorable. They are tightly focused, no-holds-barred, street legal track weapons. There haven't been that many models, and of those models, they are less than 1% of auto sales. The fact the Z/28 can be mentioned in the same sentence as a GT3 says a lot. The Ford GT, the Viper, and the ZR1 are all very fast and capable, but none are as focused as the GT3 or Z/28 is. We are living in the Grand Era of the Sportscar. Never before has there been more track focused cars available, and they are miles ahead of what was available a decade ago. The 1960's? Now just a footnote in auto history. There are family cars today that are quicker, faster, and more track worthy than the best of the 1960's cars. Doubts? CTS-V Station Wagon.

Have you driven one yet or are you just assuming it isnt a DD. Are you still pouting because GM didn't make what you wanted? I think it is time to get over it and celebrate a great car.

You can't make some people happy, to some of them what they really want from a Z/28 is the 1LE Camaro but with the Z/28 name. The 1LE Camaro in two same day same driver comparison beat the BOSS 302 (one was a LS) and really I think this is all some of these guys want but they don't want it to be called 1LE. It is purely a name thing for them, I don't see how anyone can be that upset with the Camaro line up currently as you have V6, SS, 1LE, ZL1, and Z/28 what is not to like about this line up?.

So which car did he like better? I'm at work right now and cant turn the audio up if someone could break it down for me that would be cool lol.
And thats crazy the porchse 911 GT3 starts at 140k, that's amazing they would compare the z/28 to it. The porchse is double the price of the z/28! Being discounted are you kidding your self? My Chevy dealer started with 2 z/28's and the first one already sold with a 10k mark up, and the second z/28 just sold this week with another 10k mark up.
