I bought a vvt project..need some advice

I bought a ly6 stock short block. Will need an bore due to moisture. Also have 823 heads with ls3 valve job done and shaved .05. ls3 intake...not sure it will fit with the heads shaved that much, so a single plane intake is more along the lines of what I need. Also come with a new cam motion vvt cam 230/238 625 111. Got various new parts to put it together minus pistons.

I've never messed with vvt and want to play with it. Through some of my internet research I should be around 10.2 on cr. Will shaving the heads that much work in this combo considering I have PTV? I would like a little more cr if I can get a piston to fit with what I've bought. Say around 10-11:1.

And to throw a little twist to this I have a plate system that's good to 200.

All this will be installed in a 2nd gen f body including the 6l80e I drug home also.
