I find fault in your logic. First off, while not priced as a supercar, an SS is still not all that affordable to the average guy or gal. And, if you want to keep it nice, many have one as a "fun" car, not as a daily driver. Some of us have children to raise, so we put it off for a while. We were not "doing anything wrong" with our life. As mature adults, many of us realize where priorities lie first. So now that I have one, yes I am glad and grateful and proud. I keep it like new and enjoy every it time I'm in it.

I wouldn't say lucky... Its a mass produced, economy priced car.
Nice, but nothing special

Chevy is an economy brand, don't try to make it something it isn't. As for Maintenance, it is hilariously low compared to our other cars and my Camaro insurance is cheap even with $0 deductibles.

The base Camaro costs $26K. Top of the line is $60,000. And $85US for a LOF is not cheap.

And keep in mind, $60k isn't that much either when it comes to economy built cars...the average joe's truck is $50-70k. Heck, you can't get an F250 diesel worth having for under $65k anymore. And $85 for service is pretty cheap. That's 1 hour of labor. You're paying 1 hour just for pulling into the garage.

I too feel very fortunate to own this bad boy... it feels amazing every time I get behind the wheel...
the pick-up power, the exhaust tone note, the M6 just so much fun, the handling, the looks... Its just a beautiful ride. |
