I am assuming it is in the trunk under the spare tire.

If you have the spare tire, it would be under it. If you do not have the spare tire you have an air pump in a block of foam covering it.

I know someone else who did that too.

No tire back there. I set my DIC to show tire pressure and keep an eye on it daily. Just a quick push of a button and it goes from speed to tire pressure.

Dodge is doing that too, my Charger had the battery in the trunk. Kinda nice, I left the lights on and it drained my battery. Much easier to jump start when its parked in the garage with the battery in the trunk.

You do have a positive a battery terminal and a pin for ground under the hood in case you need to jump start your car though. I connect my battery tender to those in the winter.
