Pretty sure it's a tie between my Grandfather's engraved lighter from the CVE-76 USS Kadashan Bay and a surplus Navy combat/survival knife that belonged to him (but afaik isn't the one he used in the service).
I kinda want to find a way to clean up the oxidation on the lighter to see what he engraved on there; right now all I can make out are the port of calls of Manilla and Okinawa. :/ |

I've got a rock from the Laurentian Shield in Eastern Canada. The geologists say that such stones are 4.5 billion years old. Apparently, there are some stones from Central Australia that are even older...
