SEPA5+ & the Pennsylvania Live Steamers
As discussed at our April meet, I reached out to the Pennsylvania Live Steamers club for a possible field trip. PLS is located just north of Collegeville, PA. We would have our normal meet & greet in Audubon then drive up to Speck’s (http://www.speckschicken.com/) for lunch.
PLS responded with Sunday, July the 24th. This would be an excellent family trip to bring your children and grandchildren to. According to their calendar the 24th is a Run Day (Members and Guests Only) with a Run Day Rain Date July 31st. I will need to provide them with a guestimate head count. PLS is a not-for-profit organization so there is no charge. However, they do have donation boxes out if you feel that you want to support them. http://www.palivesteamers.org/index.html When we get closer to the date, they will e-mail a copy of their release form that must be completed to cover all visitors entering the facility. If the forms are completed ahead of time, it will save time and hassle at the gate. * Please note, 7/24 is not the last Sunday in July. This would take the place of our July meet.

Note from PLS to SEPA5
George,
OK. We've got you scheduled for July 24. I've attached our release form that will need to be completed for each adult. Minors (under 18) need to have their name(s) added to one of their parent's forms on the designated line. If you can have these filled out ahead of time, it will eliminate any hassle at the gate. If you can give us an approximate number of cars and people to expect by the middle of June, it would be appreciated. Our normal hours for train operation are approximately 11 am until 3 pm but if you need to arrive earlier, we can work with that. I look forward to hearing from you.
