ARH Headers
Purchasing ARH Headers with high flow cats. It looks like they have two different options, short system which is just the longtubes with cats, or long system which comes with a x-pipe to connect to the factory npp pipes and mufflers. Which one? Worth the extra $$ for the 3" x-pipe or just stick with the factory 2.5" h-pipe?
Thanks in advance. |

Basically that's going to be up to you which to go with. An 800 dollar difference in the two. You should be fine with just the short system, unless you want all the rest to be 3" all the way back to the mufflers. Not going to much if any of a HP gain from getting the extra piping. The headers alone with a good tune will probably net you around 30-35 extra RWHP..

I would always recommend getting an x-pipe but that is quite the difference in price for the two. You could always have a 2.5" x-pipe put in, but that up to you if its worth it. I would suggest ordering headers asap, I ordered my 2" short system from them 6 weeks ago and still haven't gotten an eta.
