GM has the slave cylinder inside the transmission bell housing I believe. I think the only thing you can do is bleed it and nothing else unless you pull the transmission to get to it.

At least that is how is on my 5 speed 2003 S-10.

Well, I am warming up to it after several hundred miles. And I've also discovered if I'm accelerating moderately (too hard for the 1-4 to kick in, but not racing either) that shifting from 1 to 3 seems to offer the smoothest transition. 2nd seems so close to 2 that unless your really hitting it hard or really making an effort to be smooth... but maybe that too will come with time.

One other quirk I've noticed... when downshifting to 2nd from about 40-45MPH, it seems like the transmission "shudders" while the synchro's are spinning up. Does anyone else notice this or is this a "normal" sort of condition?
