Younger days as in 20's? How old are you now?

I owned and drove a 67 GTO back in 1967,68,69. Blew the engine up.

Young at heart though.

Go and read my thread "2016 CAFE Standards: Fear Not!". V-6 powered cars are where it's all about in the future (due to fuel standards), including the next generation Camaro.

Are there any V6 track times yet or are you going off what the CTS is doing?

When they talk about sharing platforms for mid-size RWD cars (going forward) they are referencing Camaro and other GM brands. The article stated that the current platform would be too expensive to use for the other models. They also referenced the CTS coupe due in 2011. I have only seen "spy shots" that beautiful car but I know the CTS sedan is already well established and highly regarded. My excitement was more about new platforms for the next gen Camaro...if GM would use the CTS as a model for other coupe development, then I am really excited.

so far from what I have seen (not magazines) it's been 14.6-15.1's. It is summer though.

Alzheimers strikes again. If you don't (or aren't old enough to) remember the '70's and '80's, you won't appreciate the technology in these modern 6 Cylinder vehicles.

They are pretty darn decent by comparison.

If you care what other people think then buy what they think you should have. That was easy wasn't it?
