Went out tonight, I was feeling car sick not driving it. Stopped put some gas in it and decided to see how well the new tires hook in the cold

Hahaha, the fuel will be fixed soon enough!

Damn, I didn't think those hawks would be noisy at all. Did you properly bed them per hawks instructions when you first got them? If not, try now and see if the noise goes away. How's the brake dust in comparison to the stock pads?

This is hawks bed-in procedure for their brake pads:

After installing new brake pads, make 6 to 10 stops from approximately 30-35 mph applying moderate pressure.
Make an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 40 to 45 mph.
DO NOT DRAG BRAKES!
Allow 15 minutes for brake system to cool down.
After step 4 your new pads are ready for use.

Haha soon enough ain't soon enough at least its still cold here and I can probably sit on it till end of March.

I got the brake pads from a buddy he used them for a few hundred miles didn't like them. I mean only paid $50 bucks for the fronts. He said he did the breakin procedure but knowing him he just drove it LOL. Oh well, I really just needed to get the front rims off and mount the welds and I couldn't do that with the rollerskate brakes.

My alignment must have been screwed up the front tires are all worn super uneven and the one is leaking air pretty bad. It had 5psi in it before I dismounted it. Tire shop said its leaking around the bead and the shape the tires are in they just need to be replaced.

Thanks! Yeah thats the one thing I wanted most of all was that real lopey idle. I didn't care if the cam was a "blower" cam or not LOL. I have massive FP drops after 1 gear pulls and limiter is down at 6k until I remedy that. I always forget and thats why I hit the limiter on the first pull

We have this issue as well, since we've changed out to the ceramic Hawk pads we get the squealing when applying breaks after 30 min of driving.

We bedded them in correctly, applied anti squeal and still they squeal....anyone know of a fix?.
