Have you found a good forum? All the ones I've seen are pretty lame.

sonicownersforum.com seems to be the best. they are a bit slow, compared to camaro5, but it's not bad. lol lots of good info there, and the layout is easy to navigate.

leave it to Camaro5 to help you spend your money on car mods...even if it's not for a Camaro.

if so, there are a few things the efi and HPT bring to the table. for instance, these suites usually have hundreds of tables that can be tweaked. and they can be changed right away (dyno tune). Whereas with the mail order tune, you rely on a guy that emails you back a tune, you have to reinstall, and hope that it's spot on, or have to mail it back. also, with the trifecta, it seems they have maybe 50 tables open (back when I had it in 2011). This is also why most shops will not touch the LLT motor. Their tuner can't tune the car, they have to rely on someone else.

I'll probably go to Maryland International Raceway since my other runs have been there so I can keep things the same. I'll be happy with low 12s for a daily driver and I'm still getting 28 -30 mpg.

So far things have gone very good on the tuning with Matt@FSP. It's still been in the upper 90s here and 100 degrees. Hoping to do some more datalogging when the weather breaks some. Than I'll do some base testing at the track. I don't see any reason to go track testing when the weather is so bad so bear with me and Matt. But I am VERY pleased with the driveability and the "butt dyno" so far. I'll keep posting to keep everyone in the loop. Even if it is just to say "still too darn hot".

I agree with the Title of this post. I had my car done or so I thought. Car seems great on the street but does nothing at the track. I have an intake, headers, and full exhaust. Just this weekend a full stock SS beat me by half a second on the eighth mile. Pretty embarrassing! Of course then everyone kept saying it was my tune all night long. UGH........

Could not agree more. I am about to get my forth tune. First two were from shops in Chicago and were horrible, third is a remote tune that is fair to good. Forth is going to be from Matt @ FSP. I hope he nails it as I will be $2000 in tunes.
