I'll be there.

Hope some of the folks from SA and DFW will make it down this year. We had a nice sized group last year, but I think most of them were from the Houston metro area.

It's on a Saturday evening and there are hotels near by. If you don't like anything in Sealy, Katy is just a very short drive toward Houston with lots of places to stay.

You won't be alone... there should be quite a few other first timers... one reason we have the stock classes..

Just posted a new flyer with the class breakdown...

Anyone plan to cruise over together? I'll be coming from Cypress down to Katy to meet GoPaul and try to keep up with him to Sealy.

I'm sure we will have a meet up point somewhere around Katy... if not at the track...

Should be a fun evening of racing...

I almost couldn't make it again this year but my business trip to Oslo was cancelled so I'm planning on going now. I won't be racing but will be taking pictures and maybe shooting some video (if the battery works).

Actually that would not be a good idea... That stretch of road is full of Radar Guns on race nights...

....now when you get to the track... a complete different story...

misunderstanding - don't worry, we won't be racing. it was a personal poke at GoPaul (I work with him).

by the way mlee, where can we find the rules and requirements for the track - i.e. tech inspection helmets, etc. - and keep it simple and talk slow for us newbies

Unless you guys are running w/ the big boys you won't need a helmet... and tech on your new vehicles will be painless.

Here's the website... http://www.lonestarmotorsportspark.com/

So do we have any takers from outside the Houston area coming to this event? It would be nice to see some folks from the San Antonio, Austin and Dallas areas as well. I know from reading on this site, that there are some nice cars with some power in those areas. Care to take a stab at the 1/4 mile in Sealy in a few weeks?
