Weld RTS Wheels no lug nut options for Chevy 14mm x 1.50?

So I have my new/used wheels and am looking for some nice locking lug nuts. I call up Summit and the tech tells me that Weld RT series doesn't work with 14mm x 1.50 Chevy studs. Apparently it says so right on their wheel specs. When I got the wheels, they had regular 60 degree conical style "acorn" lug nuts, used by the previous owner. There is a conical seat on the wheels and they seem to work just fine. But Weld says you must use a shank style nut with washer for proper alignment. The problem is no one, including Weld Industries, makes a 14mm x 1.50 thread lug nut with the correct shank diameter and length for the RT wheels. Not in locking, open or closed end. Nothing. Anybody have any ideas?

I'm assuming there are people that have encountered and resolved this as I've seen pictures on this site with people running Weld RT-S.

So I read a few threads about these wheels and apparently people ARE running conical nuts and obviously the wheels do have the 60 degree recess cut into them to allow for this. So why in the heck does Weld say you can't use conical nuts? Excuse my ignorance on the subject. This is my first "modern muscle car". I used to run Welds with shank style nuts with extended studs for years on my old school race cars.

All the RT-S Wheels designed for use on the 5th Gen Camaro (15", 17", 18", 20") use a regular tapered-seat lug. You don't need any special shank style lug or washers.

The Weld RT-S Series when specifically ordered for a 60* conical seat... Don't pay attention to their website when whoever ordered the rims knows what they are doing

I have Weld RT-S wheels on my 2011 SS, and they work fine with the factory lug nuts. If you asked about RT wheels, they are different than RT-S wheels. You need the RT-S w/ a 5 x 120mm bolt circle and high pad height for correct fitment. Fitment chart, w/ part numbers, is here: http://weldracing.com/press/wp-conte...e-May-2013.pdf

PS - The Weld website page for 17" RT-S wheels states the following: "Conical lugs required. Will NOT accept 5/8" drive studs."
