LT headers

I was told that if i went with long tube headers because my car is lower, i will scrub. Anyone having this issue with springs or coilovers?

-Roto fab CAI
-Muffler delete
-1" PFADT springs
-*much more to come

Not likely. Mine is about 1" lower and never had a scrape.

It will depend on the brand. I am running BBK LTs and Eibach springs and sways with zero issues for 40k miles.

I just went to coilovers with a 2" drop and no scraping yet. I have OBX headers with cats and Megan Racing coilovers.

I have LTs and Pfadt 1.25 " drop springs. I do scrape the HF cats going out of my driveway unless I go slow and one wheel at a time. When stock I went slow too but I didn't have to worry about angle and I did not scrape. I know that many will say they do not scrape and good for them. I also face the fact that my car is lower now because of the springs and the fact the HF cats sit a little lower than the stock cats - so if in doubt I creep and cut a sharp angle. And yes the exhaust is installed properly and as high and tight as it will go.

So just your cats are scrubbing?? Do you believe they would still scrub if i went with no cats??

I think if I did not have the HF cats and the electric cutouts I would probably not scrape. Caution would still be the order of the day though for big curbs, speed bumps, uneven railroad tracks - places you probably slow down for today would need more caution. But you already know that as you are already lowered. So, don't let me scare you away.

I love all my mods and goodies - I'm not going back. The car looks great lowered, handles better with the sway bars and is bad azz with the cam and bolt-ons. A 1-2-3 WOT run with the cutouts open is down right awesome. So, go ahead and get your LTs and just use some caution and common sense - you'll be fine.

Oh - and LTs with a muffler delete and no cats - everyone will hear you coming - that is one loud combo.

TSP 1 7/8" headers installed almost a year ago. Pedders coilovers installed 6 months ago with about 1" drop. NO scraping. The headers tuck up very nicely. Here's a couple of pics.

Looks good man!
What brand headers? and a couple other questions:
Did you notice a big hp/tq gain? and im actually considering pedders coilovers;could you put some pics of the stance along with the undercarriage while its lowered? And lastly how low is it if you slam it???
