If you bought it used, means someone probably swapped the front bumper out. Unless you have 2 extra cylinders you weren't aware of.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

That must be it. I bought it from a Chevy dealer and when I looked at it it had SS badges. I had them remove the badges before I picked it up.

I hope you did not pay the SS price.

Yeah sounds like someone started a conversion before trading it in.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

Dam that took some balls to put those emblems on a V6. Hopefully the dealer didn't advertise the vehicle as an SS.

No they were up front about it. I paid 22,500 last Jan. and it had only 7k on it.
I'm sure the person that traded it in put the emblems on it.

It blows "warm air" at a pretty high rate. I think I purchased it for ~$65 or so on Amazon. But it's pretty much sold everywhere.

Thanks. I'll check it out.

I have never heard of this. The shop doing the work has not mentioned it to me yet. Maybe they have already taken care of it. This seems confusing to me. They have a V6 w/ RS package which uses the same size wheels as the SS/RS package.

The RS wheels probably come with the SS wheel wells. Just a guess.
