Hello everybody,

Finally, I joined this forum today. I hv been looking for some or the other information with regards to my Camaro and I came across this forum.

It so happened today that I found this (refer to attached pics) on left side of my car :( after I drove back home from work. I guess my car is still under Chevy Warranty and I was wondering should I inform the Chevy Service Center/Dealership first or inform the Insurance guys first? Whoever did this to my car didn't even care to leave a sorry note nor any contact info. I guess this must have happened in my office building. I am super upset :(

You should call your insurance. Chevy isn't going to warranty accidental damage.

Thanks guys for your quick replies. It just struck me that I can ask the security guys or the property manager at my workplace to go thru tapes from last 2 days to see if they find something? Coz I know Insurance guys will ask me if there were any security cameras and also if I report it to the PD.

Yes report it to the police dept. They may not let you have a copy or look at the security tapes. The police might have to get it.

^^This. That and most insurance companies will want a police report. Best of luck catching the bastard. I think we'd all like to see some justice served to these hit and run jerks for once.

Sorry you are having to deal with this. I know I would be heartbroken. Hopefully you can get the guilty person identified & dealt with appropriately & your baby fixed up good as new ASAP. But, it good that you found Camaro5. This is a great place to learn most anything you want to know, meet great Camaro comrads & just hang out. Beware of Modification Fever though. It is very contageous & there is no cure, just group therapy here daily. Welcome aboard. Get that permagrin maker fixed up & keep us posted. See ya around the forum!
