good performance shop in FL

Hi guys, I live in south Ga(about 19miles north of the FL/Ga line) and I am looking for options for good performance shops to do a header/cam install-

I know I have Vengeance and MTI racing up in atlanta, but I would like to explore some more options. Is there anything in orlando or tampa? Thank!

A lot of people recommend FSP in Bradenton (just south if Tampa) .

You can't go wrong with Matt at FSP. He is the best in that area of Florida.

You'll pass a ton a quality shops between Georgia and Florida, but I tune at PowerTech performance and they have been building performance vehicles in current shop before the LSx series motor cam out with a great track record. Its a huge 7 bay shop with 5 full time mechanics.

They have a ton of performance work so you better reach out for the owner Joe early if you want an appointment for your build.

We can take care of anything you need us to do. With 13+ years of LSx experience not a problem here. We actually have a car in from Valdosta right now, making just short of 1k HP that we are installing a Haltech EMS piggyback in now with a bunch of other items. We are a small shop, with both owners taking care of the mechanics and tuning. We do not have to cut corners because of large shop overhead/payroll, so we can take our time on every build and put it to our specifications like it was our own vehicle.

My car is at FSP now getting a cam and necessary upgrades to support it. The guys are great and he teases me with photos as the build progresses.

I'll second Next Level Performance in Altamonte Springs which is just North of Orlando.

He has a ton of experience and specializes in LS motors.

Another vote for FSP here!

That's where my car will be going in a few weeks.

And a friend of mine just had an IPF supercharger and SS rear end put on his V6 by Matt and Rodney and it is a beast - can't go wrong with them, no bull and treat the cars as if they own them, which is exactly how it should be!
