It happened and she posted the timeslips. Negative DA and an aggressive driver can make it happen.

Just seems very strange that a 2ls stock can do that when cars with work and 3.27 gears can't even hit that number. The difference in the first gears are insane. Every time me and my friend race his 2ls gets left by about a car or 2 just from first gear and doesn't come back on top end. So it just makes no sense to me.

Yea I haven't even mentioned the fact that she's has an open diff with skinny tires. My 285 goodyear eagle f1's can't even hook on the track when it's warm because of the open diff, let alone the 255's or whatever comes on the 2ls. From a lot of experience at the track with many other Camaro owners, it just doesn't seem possible.

Feel free too look at my past posts in this thread. It didn't take much for this. The 2LS is the lightest Camaro offered, car didn't come with a spare tire. Has the 2.92 gears, so by there time I'm crossing the 1/4 mile mark, I'm in third gear, while everyone else shifted into 4th. I had crazy negative DA that day, and I only weigh 105 pounds. Not rocket science. Call it a factory freak, but it happened. I can post up all my other 13.9 passes from when I was bone stock.

Stock BGFs are 245s.

I was backin you up. Was just stating how it does seem a little impossible based on everyone else's experience with these cars. But I was backing you up that it did happen cuz when you did it was kind of a big deal at the time

No problem you're welcome. You're actually the one that kind of inspired me to start really modding out my car. I was a little discouraged because no one had ever gotten into the 13s stock. Yet the 3.7 mustangs were doin it left n right. Then once you did it, I figured it was go time

Just because someone has an open diff. doesn't mean they won't get a good hole shot. I have shown many times that even with an open diff. I can lay rubber with both tires. When I ran my best time I was able to get a (at that time better than anyone else) good 60' time of 1.936.

Victoria is correct too, having a 2LS is the lightest. Her weighing as little as she does, is a big help too. For every 100 lbs. weight drop is worth approx. 0.1 sec. (rule of thumb). at the time I ran my best she had me by 150 lbs. that is worth 0.15 sec. Having a 2.92 gear will help get out of the hole not losing traction.
