Front driver side rubbing with spare on
OK need some info...
Got a flat, put on spare. I thought it was tight. maybe 5 miles later in town driving. felt sketchy, went to check. 2 bolts are loose. pull into walmart, they try to torque it to 140 ft lbs and can't it wont torque. They tighten best they can. drive it back to work, they're tight, drive home, tight. Drive to work next day tight. Leave work suddenly there is a rubbing sound coming from wheel. check lugs... one is now loose. I take to the place that I was going to take car tomorrow morning anyway to put the new tires on and left it there. Wife came to pick me up, she brought the tires. Little more info, the wheels are not stock and neither are the lugs, The lug wrench didn't fit, which is why I went to walmart. Any thoughts why my lugs won't tighten and why all of a sudden I have a rubbing sound. Just trying to get an idea of what I could be walking into tomorrow.

Just in case anyone finds this thread with a similar issue. There was nothing wrong. the spare wasn't seated correctly on the hub and was rubbing.
