So I have a 2017 Camaro ss A8
My current mods are msd, vaxx ported TB, 1 7/8 headers, e85, stock intake. I'll be getting a stage 2 Cam here for my birthday in the next few days.
My question is, I'll be running my stock heads for now. Should I get them ported? I know I'll be getting max gains going ported, but is there a downside of keeping the stock heads? Also I'll be running my stock torque converter. Thanks

Not really the only downside is you will have to remove them twice once to do the afm delete with the cam and than again when you get them ported. Katech has a good deal on cnc porting i think they charge 500 you send in your bare heads

Yup I recently sent them a extra set of heads I had laying around. Shipping, porting and disassembly/assembly ran me $700
