Well......... for those who were looking forward to see the car at SEMA but, couldn't attend, lets just say you're not going to miss much!

Unfortunately, due to one SINGLE individual, everything we have worked so hard for over the last two years, has blown up in our faces!

We are so disappointed and frustrated, it's hard to put into words. Maybe I will post details at a later time but right now, we are just burnt with this whole deal. What a let down. This guy doesn't realizes the implication of his actions or lack there of.

Signing out perhaps for a while. See you guys.
That really sucks man...I haven't said much on your threads, but I read through them looking at every picture and every update thinking "wow, I wish I had the time/energy/money/skill to do even SOME of this work"...the car is going to be incredible when it's done.

Wish I could help.

Where one door closes, another opens. Use this opportunity to open new doors.

This car is much too cool to not make the show, even if it is just parked on the street outside as a blatant FU to the individual that hosed you. I bet some company would come along and invite you in.

Good luck with whatever happens, we are behind you brother.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next

Thanks guys, we really appreciate all the support! We are dusting ourselves off and refocusing our efforts.

In the meantime, here's a little something I thought you guys would get a kick out of. We took some HP Sticky Shield from Heat Shield Products and used it on the bottom of the intake. The ideas is to reduce the heat being transferred to the intake.

Nathan - you going to tell me who I need to give my money to so I can get one of these?

Edit: did you guys use the HP sticky shield, the lava shield, or the cobra cloth? To me it seems like the HP sticky shield might be a bit too thick...

edit: looks like the Lava Shield is the only one that is able to be directly applied to a heat source, so I'll be going with that

I am very happy to see that you are still working on it. That is a great idea on that heat shield. I sent you a pm about that carbon fiber, when you get a chance can you PM me back? Thank you :-)

Great to see you back Nathan! Keep on working and don't let the actions of one deter your most excellent build. I know it is disappointing to miss SEMA, but there is a bigger story you are creating.
