Definitely don't want fluid where it doesn't belong. I've read about reverse bleeding, but I fear that would make a terrible mess.
The reverse bleeding may be my last resort for my grandson's clutch.. Nothing like bench bleeding the master cylinder wrong, and now trying to get the system bled.

The Mityvac is not reverse bleeding. You apply vacuum at the bleed screw, crack the bleed screw open and maintain vacuum with the tool. There's a container that goes between the vacuum pump and the bleed screw that the fluid collects in. You can completely flush from the M'cylinder to the calipers. No pumping the brakes required. The limiting factor is how much fluid the in-line container holds and refilling the master cylinder. You have to stop and empty and refill a couple of times. Should work fine on a clutch system also as long as you can get to the bleed screw.

I have a reverse bleeder also. Never could get it to work well for me.

Yeah, I thought of that after I read it through. I figured somebody would comment. Get your mind out of the gutter.
