Trans Upgrades

Starting to look at transmission upgrades for my 2010 SS with 3.91’s;
Bronze shifter cup
Bronze shifter fork pads
Hybrid synchro’s 1-4 (probably gonna use the 2nd design for 1-2 gear set which they say is supposed to grip better)
Tail housing support bearing
Should I also change the gear sets to match a M10 from a 1LE and if so will that require any tuning changes
Any other suggestions??
Other items already have:
Monster 1LT clutch an flywheel
Monster billet throw out bearing
Long bleeder line and speed bleeder
Remote reservoir and bracket
Not sure I wanna swap shifters yet

I think you're on point for just about all of that list. I will wonder aloud about the 1LE gear set. I have a 13 1LE and my understanding is that they are stock vs stock slower in the 1/4 mile. I assume that is why you put in the 3.91. The idea is to keep your car in 2 and 3 for most of a road course with a 1LE. Either way if you do the swap the tuning will have to be changed because all of the gearing will be different.

No drag racing just road course and auto-X. An with what your saying will probably leave the M6 gears in place since the 3.91s are pretty stout with the M6. An greatly appreciate you response.

If you're going to road course it I'd heavily consider doing the gear swap. It still pulls like hell but there's less up and down shifts on a track with turns.

I did all the upgrades you listed, but added the ZR1 pickup tube and used full carbon fiber blocker rings. I got the tailshaft support bearing from Rockland Gear, if I remember correctly. It's pricey too! Lol. I have 3.91s and I enjoy rowing the gears.

If I remember correctly, it offsets the pickup tube so that it is constantly immersed in fluid.

Thanks!

I got them from from Tick. Just need to check on checkout that you want to upgrade to full carbon fiber for 1-4. 5-6-R are hybrid.

The 1le gear set(MM6) is the same as the ZL1(MG9) except for 5th and 6th gears. Replacing the 1st three gears could be expensive. You might just want to buy a ZL1(MG9) trans and sell yours to recoup some money?
I have been researching the different gear ratio because I am planning on switching my 5th and 6th gears to get better top end acceleration, I will be switching to a M10 5th gear and a ZL1 6th gear, might even switch to the ZR1 6th gear.

Thank you for clarifying the gear set I had the backwards. An finding a ZL1 trans will be a expensive endeavor.
