Anyone remove the center post on a coupe?

I have been thinking that one big miss on the new Camaro is that the SS is not a true super sport in that there is a post between the door and rear window. Has anyone removed that center post? If so how did you beef up the frame and roof?

Just toying with the idea. If the convt has no post then why not the coupe. Or should I say the Non Super Sport.

The 'vert has a subframe support system you could probably install yourself. You might want to install a rollbar too.I went in the oposite direction and made the post stand out by installing a chrome window trim kit ,chrome & Black always a good combination.

The B pillar is kind of an important part of the safety features of the car.

I like my fake SS just the way it is. Gm engineered the car the way they did for modern safety regs. I’m good with that.

I wouldn't mess around with a major Structural support for the shell.

Think I’ll leave mine the way it is.....what good is looking cool if you’re crushed to death if you end up rollling it sometime.

but if you are only 4'8" and can't see over the steering wheel, that B pillar is not so important. But then again, not seeing out of the front windshield is the next issue.
