101 db. limit at Sonoma question

Question is will I make it?
I've got a 2015 ZL1 with Kooks long tube headers, no cats and then stock exhaust from there. Usually go to Miller for track days, so never had to worry about it.
Anybody go there with a similar set up?
Thanks for the help.

At which point is the measurement taken... at idle, or when you're full bore with the pedal to the floor? 100db isn't that loud really. Concerts are around 110db, and a regular car driving down the road has around 80db of road noise inside the car. At 100db, you can have conversation with the person next to you, although you might have to lean in and talk a little loud.

EDIT: Also, you can probably get a free SPL meter app for your phone which will measure it using the phone's microphone. It may not be extremely accurate, but close enough for what you're doing probably.

Thanks for the input. I have not been to this track before, so not too sure on where they test, but I'm sure it will be out on the track somewhere.

Hoping someone with first hand knowledge chimes in.

Not sure about that track, but around here, on the tracks that test, they usually seem to do it at two locations. With only one, we learn to let off the gas just prior to try to minimize the noise level. My car is similarly equipped, and on throttle, I don't think I would quite make that cut off....

My car got 98db at WOT at an autocross event. I have NPP and solo high flow cats. So the LTs are going to be pretty close. Maybe you want to invest in a 3 way controller for your ZL1 so you can close the baffles and cut off a few DB.

I was 111db with kooks LTs, cam, off road pipes and open npp

If you are high in the revs when you pass the sound check (it is the 1/4mi tree on the track) on the straight to turn one, you will blow the sound check
