so i was wondering how the clutch will fair with some added power and some harsh clutch drops. Is it the same clutch that the LS3 vettes come with?

G-force... FTW. Punter, how does the tilton compare to the Gforce dual friction?

Probably not well, to be honest. The Camaro is a lot heavier than a vette, and in the past, GM hasn't accounted for that in installing a clutch. The clutch in a Camaro should be stronger than that of a C6, just because it's heavier. They'll probably have installed the same clutch though, so I don't expect it to fare well on hardcore holeshot clutch slips.

tiltons are very very expensive racing clutches with very short throws...think along the lines of $8k for the clutch assembly

SPEC here too I've read many good things about them. I know Centerforce had problems, from what I've read, with LT1s and know a couple people who had problems with the weight on LS1s. I'm sure it'll last a little while

McLeod makes a good clutch. My buddy works at a shop and that's whay they upgrade the LT5 ZR-1's to. That's what I'll probably use.
