Stock exhaust slightt modification

Hey guys i was really getting fed up of looking at the rear end of my camaro (V6) and seeing those huuuuge silver mufflers so i decided to do a little cosmetic modification, ofcourse untill i install my new exhaust

i decided to get rid of that eye piercing metal thing under my car by painting it matte black with some VHT manifold paint. I wrapped up the whole bumper of the car with newspaper and some painters tape to make sure i didnt get overspray anywhere! i then took some brake cleaner to clean off any residue on the actual muffler. I then sprayed the muffler with the vht did a coupple of coats and voila, it turned out awesome, the way it should of came from factory!!

here are some pictures on the procedure!

Enjoy Guys

If you have a SIM car the mufflers look ok as the color they are. I agree if red car or some others real ugly from the factory. well done.

I did the same to mine a long time ago. I couldn't stand the look of the silver cans, its all you see at the rear of the car... grosss. I'll be behind other Camaros and just wonder why GM doesn't already do something like this. I used high temp semi-gloss.
