Xbox 360 vs. PS3?
Help!
I am looking into upgrading from my PS2/Xbox and was just hoping for some insight as to the Pros/Cons of each system. Thanks for all the help that any of you choose to volunteer! ps. I use online gameplay/dont have a blue ray player

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

yea i love halo 3, thats a big thing for me, but games aside im more worried about the advantages of owning each system and how well the gameplay is reflected through graphics and refined play/no lagg

Xbox 360:
Many many many games. Good Games. Best online play and worth the $42 (or something like that) per year. PS3: Most games are also available for Xbox 360 and only a few exclusives worth mentioning. free online play but no fun extra perks. (again you get what you pay for). Blu-ray is amazing. In fact so good that HD DVDs are non existing now. PS3 is more expensive And as far as game gaphrics go. There are vary few recognizable differences. So unless you really really really want the blu ray I suggest Xbox 360. But that's just my honest opinion. Edit: As far as lagg. You'll experience it no matter where or on what console you play. Online is still online |

Yeah lag is about your connection not the system.
As far as graphics go they're pretty similar although I think the PS3 is a little bit better. But not worth the difference in price IMO |

Get a PS3 and the Formula 1 game and I'll race you on-line.
I've got PS3 obviously and like it. |

Many downloadables.
and the ability to have party chats with all your freinds at the same time. Downloadable movies and TV episodes. Lots of extras in the games. If you know someone who has Xbox Live on 360 I suggest you take a look for yourself. And I've played games such as Call of Duty 4 on both consoles and there is no major distinguishable difference |

[QUOTE=GatorBlue371;209077]Ive played COD4 and Halo 3 tons of times online on my buddies 360 and LOVE the online game play, but i dont know if id really be all that interested in downloading extras...
My priorities are Gameplay-Online-Games-Server reliability (lag/freezing) Gameplay- I'd say tie Online-Xbox(better online community) Games-Easily Xbox Server reliability-I really don't know but I would guess it varies with what your connection is. But I had to give it to one I would go with the one that comes from a COMPUTER comany(mircrosoft) ; ) |

That depends on your service provider and connection.

Sony? yea it seems like its Xbox down the line... but im wondering if its enough to offset the Blue Ray player Adv. that the PS3 comes with.
