Truly stupid question re:2SS/RS

Should be picking up my new car this Thursday. Here's the question. Does the Camaro have cigarette lighter socket so that I can use it for my mini CB, radar detector, charge cell phone, et al?
You'd think I'd know since I ordered the car.
Thanks

It has a USB port too. I bet I just blew your mind.

Gotcha on the USB port

Knew about that and thought maybe that's all there was. Thanks for the info on the sockets. My Envoy has three or four sockets but an actual lighter was an option. Thought Chevrolet might have dropped the sockets.

Nothing against the Old Fogey, but seeing he still uses a CB I doubt he will be bothered by a USB .... LOL ....

Breaker 19 for a Smokey report ... LOL .... Gawd the number of hours I've spent on a radio is crazy, those were good times ...

Yes I am and old fogey-

I live in SoCal but have season tix for Cal football in Berkeley and family in the bay area. I make the run up I5 probably 10 or 12 times a year and the truckers still do smokey reports on CB's. Also when there is an accident ahead you frequently get trucker reports. And when I go offroading with my nephew (not in the Camaro of course- LOL) we use handhelds when there's no cell coverage to keep in touch. They are kind of an antique but still have uses

Don't forget the mini input for plugging in MP3 players also located in the center consol.

I found that more and more people are starting to use CBs and Ham Radio again. My brother and some of his buddies just went and took the Ham Radio test for there license and past it.

There is no need for XM in the 2SS with the USB port and the stereo that plays raw MP3 files. You can stick hundreds of MP3s on a CD or USB stick and select and play them. You can even create a CD with multiple folders and place your different music types in the folders and select and play the ones you are in the mood for when driving.

If I ever purchase a 79 Trans Am, it WILL have a CB radio in it. CB radios were an option on cars back in the 70s. I will worry if someone installs an 8-track player in their Camaro.
