L99 to LS3 Timing cover Swap Details

Hey guys does anyone know whats involved in the swapping as far as the connecting for cam sensor... my car was L99 5pin plug/connection,now it's LS3 style with with 3pin/connection,So do I just get a LS3 connector from chevrolet and hard wire it in or is there an adapter out there?..........thanks
