My Camaro is black and tan and tan stitching with the rjt paint but the shifter and boot are stitched in orange. How many are out there like this ?

Nope....mine's perfect!!!
![]() But often, if you play it right...mistakes like this can cause a car to be more valuable because it is "rare."

Yup saw one like this at my dealership a year ago it was black exterior with a black leather and a inferno orange stich shifter boot. Probably and easier and cheaper fix to get the car completed down the assembly shipped to the dealer then fixed later as opposed to keeping it on hold at the plant

The only things with my car were a problem was the dealer said it would have the rear sensing thingy and it would have HUD. Neither of which it has on it. I didn't care much about the rear sensor but I am pissed about the HUD. When I see a final disposition on adding HUD to a 2010 I will probably spend the money for it.

Man, that's really a trip. I'm a bit surprised to hear about this type of a mistake. Not sure how it'll impact the long term value on your specific Camaro if at all, but definitely an indication of build quality... IMO.

lol, there is no way this is making the car more rare or do anything to long term value. I can go pull one out of the junkyard and say it came that way. Nothing more than a mistake by GM/builders

The color of the shifter boot threads are one thing, the leg left behind in the drivers seat.....unexcusable!

I agree. If you could somehow DOCUMENT this mistake, it could make it a bit more unique. Not sure there's much demand for something I could run down to the dealer, order, and install myself and call it a "mistake".
Now what would make it desireable (the term "rare" doesn't mean much, unless it's a steak. If it is both desireable AND rare, then you got something.) is if you got a V8 in your LS or something along those lines.

I went to install fog lights on my LS and the screws for the wheel wells were missing.
