Performance Parts offered by GM

Hey everyone, sorry for all the questions im asking lately.
just wondering I was going threw the camaro brochure and noticed GM offers a performance intake, is it possible for me to go to my local deal and get one installed? and is it worth the money?
also I remember reading somewhere about GM offering a Hurst shifter, am i able to get that installed from dealer as well?

thank you for putting up with my noobness

IIRC the intake is not available yet but I'm sure you can get better for less.

Since you've mentioned dealer numerous times I'm going to take a guess and suggest its because you are trying to maintain your warranty? Or perhaps keep the car all 'gm'.

In either case, the best bang for the buck performance is definitely outside of GM. I reckon you contact SPi Performance. They will set you up with what you need and most likely exceed your expectations when it comes to being educated on who has the what and the where..

Never hurts to call.

Stay with GM parts. More money for your Carmaro in the end. Learned the hard way with nonGM parts. Bob

Does anyone know the difference in costs between Canadian vs american dealer ?
Might be worth a trip to do GM performance mods across the border?
Specially for tires in New hampshire...no tax!

My son, who is a GM tech, needed a throw out bearing for his Cobalt. Even with his GM discount it was about 50% cheaper to buy it from a GM dealership in NY. Well worth the one hour round trip drive.
