i think those mirrors are for the European market.
because i live in the Netherlands, and having a 2001 Camaro, and my mirrors are foldable too, and the extra blinker on the fender.

i don't like it too, but it is the law in Europe, so we have no choice.

Those are the side mirrors i saw on the Japanese version or was it the Chinese one...eitehr way i don't think they will bring those stateside as they would get riped apart by the community at large.
